Standard Deployment Process for Apache/Tomcat AT Environment


A new application should have a SVN repository created by the Testing group before any war files are sent.   This should be submitted by email to ITS AT HOSTING.   The following information should be included in the email

  • Application name, Department and/or Division, Client name, and whether the application is internal or external.
  • Programmer name or names and primary contact person.
  • Who should have access to the repository?
Request a new Development Apache/Tomcat slice.   This request should be sent by email to ITS AT HOSTING with the following information.

  • Application name
  • Programmer name
  • Environment Type: ( PHP, Tomcat)
  • Siteminder requirements
Deployment requests for AT should be sent to ITS AT HOSTING with the war file attached to the email with the following information.
  • Is the application UMD protected?
  • Is anyone else to be notified when the application is deployed.
  • Any testing instructions that you what done.
  • Project managers are required to provide security with required information for the application.  (Security Group)
  • AT group will deploy all applications using the Tomcat Management Console.
