We live in a world of two browsers, each competing for dominance of the Internet. ADA and W3C standards are used, in the beginning, in creating State assets that promote good form and efficiency for delivering services and information on the Web. The State of Utah is branding itself with Utah.gov.

RSS feeds are a great way to quickly convey important information. RSS feeds make it easy to import information from other feeds. Using an HTML viewer, web designers easily incorporate feeds from several different sources into their Internet sites. ITS offers a robust RSS solution.

After the site is built, ITS uses its team of experts to review the site for spelling, navigation and consistency before turning the site over to the client. ITS also offers several web site maintenance packages allowing the client to continue utilizing ITS in keeping their site fresh and up-to-date.

When the site is up and running, the client can schedule a time to meet with a member of the Web Development and Design team to:

• Review the site with the designer
• Receive minor training on Dreamweaver/Contribute

With this package the client receives a new site with 75- 100 pages built by the Web Development and Design Team. This also includes post-design training with a client staff member to review their site and receive minor training on Dreamweaver or Contribute.

The client can also purchase one of the web site maintenance packages to allow ITS to continue keeping their site fresh and up-to-date.
