The Price I.T.S. Radio shop assists with microwave maintenance on 7 major sites in our area and other areas as requested and maintain a logging recorder for Price DPS dispatch center. We maintain other equipment for Price dispatch center: Generator, CEB and other console equipment, data equipment. We maintain a radio operated weather reporting system for DOT for along the I-70 corridor. We maintain about 30 base stations on mountain top sites and at various agency locations. Also maintain a number of radios used to access remote locations. We maintain a multitude of mobiles and handheld radios for many state and local agencies. Responsible for the frequency programing of State agency radios and many local agencies. We install radio equipment for many state and local agencies. When requested, we consult and work with other state agencies, counties and cities to assist with their radio requirements. We also operate and maintain a snow cat to allow access to mountain top sites during the winter.
