ITS provides installation and repair of equipment at law enforcement and emergency services dispatch centers, including consoles and digital logging recorders.

ITS operates the State Repeater System (SRS) for customers throughout Utah’s geographic regions. The network enables two-way voice only radio communications for law enforcement, emergency services, and other local, State, and federal operations. ITS charges a monthly rate per mobile user for this service.
The SRS product utilizes the far-reaching State microwave system to provide broad service throughout the state. Additionally, ITS works with the FCC and manages the radio frequencies used by the SRS.

ITS Radio Technicians install, maintain, and repair a variety of wireless equipment. Their expertise spans mobile and portable two-way radios, dispatch consoles, digital logging recorders, conventional base stations, 802.11 access points, among other equipment.

Customer agencies may negotiate contracts for Radio Technician services.

The State of Utah Law Enforcement System (LES) is operated by ITS for the use of the Department of Public Safety and other law enforcement organizations. This system is used primarily outside the Wasatch Front, in areas not served by the Utah Communications Agency Network (UCAN).
